  • Selling my sister's old laptop. Will add more details once I figure them out.

    Standard Toshiba jobbie

    2.93GHz Celeron Processor
    1GB Ram
    Win XP

basically this one but with more RAM

I will clear all her crap off it and use the restore disc so it's like it was when she bought it. Very good cosmetic condition (apart from the charger). Will add pics soon.

  • Very clean inside, keyboard all good, not noticeable issues with the display. No peeling or grubby stickers.

    Very minimal scuffs to top

Only potential issue I can see but is working fine, buyer may want to replace this lead.

Original manual, recovery CD, additional software/drivers CD, Microsoft Works discs, original 512mb RAM chip, some Toshiba support thing (probably out of date.

  • I might be interested...need to check finances..... it is in as good as new working condition?....A bit of insulating tape should deal with the charger.

  • Seems to be, have run the restore disc which seems to have cleared all her crap but put the usual bloat ware back on which is easily removed. Have fully charged the battery so will leave it off over night and run it tomorrow, will report back on battery condition.

The cosmetic condition is excellent for its age, probably the only possession she's ever looked after. There are no bare wire strands on the charger.

Collection from SE5 in the evening or Waterloo area during work hours.

  • A bit of insulating tape should deal with the charger.

NO - this lead is dangerous and insulating tape will not fix it as you have no strain relief anymore, which might lead to injuries and fires.

This is normally a standard cable which costs just 1 f*ckin quid, please go to any used electronics store and get a new one.

    A bit more than £1...but point taken.....cheers.....Jetski

  • Switched on today without charger, said about an hour's worth of battery remaining which isn't bad considering the age.

However, replacement batteries seem to be plentiful on ebay should you need to be mobile.
