    Lol, you dont need 2.4" MTB tyres.

    If you are using it as a commuter, some 1.5-1.75 slick, lightweight tyres will be perfect. Knobbles will slow you down, plus a deep cut tread will wear fast in the city so you may not have enough grip left by the time you do an occasional off road ride.

    Continental do a range of 26" city tyres with fairly smooth knobbles.
