I have a porteur rack that's still available:

Looks great, will shoot you a PM, but am worried about the fact that the frame only has attachments at the back of the forks, not at the front....are there ways of adapting??

You can use p-clips to attach it to the forks although the bottom of the rack has spacers where you'd bolt it to the frame so it'd probably fit ok really.
This pic here (not mine, just linked off of the Internet, and of a different model of rack) has a rack attached to lugs which look to be to the rear of the fork:

Oooh, awesome....my forks are much thinner than those so if there are any spacer it should work well....see PM :)

cheers for that saxby's, but think I will go for the black one as I suspect it will look slightly better on the frame.
Hey there wonderful folks! So I recently picked up the marvellous Triumph bike from Jamestz and am going to be cleaning/building it up as a summer runaround geared bike for my girlfriend.
Apparently she would much prefer some porteur style or similar bars to the drops currently on it. Anyone got anything going cheapish ~ around a tenner??
Also looking for a front rack or basket.
Cheers!
