Action forks as sold by Tokyo Fixed...any good?

  • As sold by Tokyo Fixed...but has anyone got any experience here on using these forks....either the curved or straight forks.

Anyone know what the rake on these forks are?

  • They look good, may be better suited if you still want the Foco, as the Carbon fork makes it feel a bit light and spongy.. Speaking of which, will get it measured for you!

  • I was waiting for a reply to my questions and whilst i was waiting Hammo reappeared and i've bought the Condor...just want to replace the fork with a chrome one hence the question about the Action forks...etc etc.....oh i'll send this as a pm to you....your a card!.....look good yes...but are they good?...ie in Action [hehe]

  • thread revival.

has anyone got the action forks? would anyone recommend them? they're nearly half the price of the condor ones. is there a reason for this?

Both are made from cromoly but the Action forks are from the far east possible the People's Republic or possibly Taiwan.....the Condor's are from Italy and are being sold with a Condor motif and being sold by Condor!

My guess is the condor forks are better finished but by the Law of Marginal Returns...i doubt they are worth effectively twice as much....i believe the phrase is 'paying for the name'!

  • They do the trick. If you can find some nice second hand ones I'd go for those instead though.
