Yes it is. Shimano only over made a few posts that look anything like that.

One is the SP-7400-B (that one, which is ovalised) and the A post which is round and has cut ins. As you can see in the diagram below:

The diagram below also tells us that these posts came in 25.0-27.4.

i searched what size seatpost you need for a Peugeot carbolite 103 on the forum, and i found a post that said 23.4.

Then it must have been lathed down with some precision. It might be worth adjusting the ad to say it's specific for a Peugeot frame...

and that your prepared to offer a money back guarantee if/when it doesn't fit.
