  • ha ha yes big laughs... do you recall that dog 'one eye' that guarded our house whilst we were away..?

  • Things obviously had moved on in club since I was a member in the 70's. The furthest we got was a youth trip to the Cotswolds!

  • Found a couple more pictures - a few of us in full kit at Eastway in 92, unfortunately the photographer shaved the top of our heads off, and another one from Wales in the same year of Steve competing in a local evening 10.

I'll try and come down. I saw Steve Wharton recently and discussed the idea of having a reunion club run for ex-club members.Maybe a social paced ride of about 50k followed by a few beers when the weather improves. Anyone up for this?

  • I would, but I'd need lots of notice as I live in Carlisle.

  • hello all, used to ride with paddington around early 1990's, drinks at the man on the moon wasn't it first monday of the month and meeting at the pond on the weekend, normally with a stinking hangover (i was young!)

i think that is spencer third in from the right, i think he now rides with finchley. as for me i still ride and race! i recall shuttleworth, fast, flash wheels on the tt, oh how i wanted a pair! .
