Sorry, I'm struggling with the photo upload.
Forks - yes. Those. With the big EASTON in white on the front.
Rando's - Hard to measure, so I went from outside to outside. Tops = 395mm(ish), and bottoms = 475mm(ish)

hmmm... was gonna ask if I were allowed to put them on the GASH but not sure about carbon steerer.
-
• #8
Uh?
Surely a carbon steerer is a must on a hhsb.
What are you going to do if you want to rock a light weight stem with cut out sections like a Thomson? Have nasty bits of silver alu exposed?

Thanks, bit big- these would be for the Mrs, ideally looking for 38cm c-c at the drops.

Easton forks sold.
Sugino dustcaps provisionally sold.
Easton EC70 bars provisionally sold.

^^ Dammit - without wanting to give it the hard sell the Rando's are quite small imo. Which is one of the reasons I'v never used them.
They obviously flare out quite a bit at the bottom due to their shape.
Here are the rubbish measurements photos I took:
hoods area:
ends of the drops: - ie just near where you'd put your bar plugs in
Where abouts are you based? I'm happy for you to take a look at them to see if they'd suit.

Oh also, if it's nothing special I have some tiny 70s drops in rough condition you can have.

wish I'd seen this! I'd love the tugs mate...
never installed any though, what is the minimum/maximum length of 'tug' so to speak?Ta
-
• #21
They're kinda hard to measure.
They will fit most normal length trackends in terms of length. The more important thing is how thick are your dropouts.
In terms of length they'll cover around 35mm from centre of the axle to the ends. The dropout thickness is 5mm. They fit on my old school 531 frame, but not on my Condor Pista.
Hope that helps.
Also the thread is uptodate, so if anyone want to make any offers, let me know.
Cheers.

Also I found this at the weekend:
~~
Nos 650 mavic Mach 2 CD tub - RIM ONLY - very nice round profile like a cxp12, no machined sidewall, but it's flat enough to run a brake.I don't have any photos here, but it looks exactly like the [ame="http://www.google.co.uk/search?rlz=1C1GPCK_enGB397GB397&q=650%20mavic%20Mach%202%20CD&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=en&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=q86CT4utBqT80QW99sj6Bg&biw=1024&bih=513&sei=sM6CT72XOOTH0QWY58DnBg#um=1&hl=en&safe=off&rlz=1C1GPCK_enGB397GB397&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=ss6CT_eHAaKk0QX23OmKBw&ved=0CD0QBSgA&q=650c+mavic+Mach+2+CD&spell=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.,cf.osb&fp=aaedb8b665ab14e4&biw=1024&bih=513"]google search images[/ame].

Offers welcome. Also I need to convert my fixed beater to something a girl I'm seeing can ride to improve her confidence on the road before she gets her own bike...
... so here is my wish list:
Parts:~~
- pair of non-hipster alu risers (+540mm and ideally with some sweep)
- left hand 26.0mm cross top or pair of canti / road caliper levers
- comfortable grips (ideally Edwin De La Rosa's)~~
- (long short) pre-drilled clamp-on plate to attach a rear brake to an undrilled frame.
Services:
- chasing the BB thread and installing a set of mtb decore cranks
Cheers.

about 7mm thick. I take it they won't work?
-
• #24
Well it depends if "about" means to within 2mm ;)
I'm happy to drop them by one evening if you're around for you to look.
-
• #25
OK so the caliper says 7mm exact and the axle is about 9-10mm from the end of the dropout

It will take a 25.4mm-26.0 stem, so you can rock it with risers or drops. The lacquer is a bit chipped around the front, I planned to strip it. All the bits are there, just not photographed.
Note that it is one inch not 1 1/8”. These are really nice and simple with neat welds.
