I wouldn't hold your breath on the prospects of avoiding deer smashy smashy. This is the third ride I've been on where there's been a close call, and that's without counting dogs, foxes, badgers...and squirrels.
After a bit of a stop-start first half, riding through the new forest in the sun was fantastic. Roads were smooth and quiet, that was top riding, and a great end to a really pleasant route - so big thanks to Sam and the other gramonators for pointing us around. Further plaudits to braker for riding with a fucked back with good grace and humour.
Would also be great if Bournemouth could put a couple more of these on their signs:
squabs, did you take some pictures? Will you upload?
