I gotta tell you - Sora shifter and disc brake does not mix.
they're horribly spongy with those combination, even with the Problem Solver Travel Agent, I find it impossible to make it perform well, it's only the Sora shifter itself that doesn't work well.
it's a shame you feel it didn't fit you well, it look an awesome do-it-all bike much like my CdF for a lots less than half the price.
edit - perhaps change the bar for a compact one? the reach look rather long on the current bar.
