For sale is my Holdsworth Laquelda from 1947
frame size is 56 centre of chainset to entrance of seatpost
currently set up as a fixed gear, but can be altered on the flip flop hub with a single speed cog.
spec is as follows.
fiamme tubular rims on airlite hubs (rear hub bolted/front alloy wingnuts)
GB hinduminium stem
GB courer front brake and brake lever
alloy track bars from the same period, i cannot remember the brand now as it is under the bar tape. they do date from the 40's.
new bartape (velox)
Ta specialities cyclotouriste chainset with 42 tooth chainring
maillard alloy pedals with toe clips
brampton chain
new continental tubulars
birmalux seat post
Brooks Professional saddle with the smaller copper rivets
The frame is newly resprayed and is otherwise spotless apart from a small area of the 'o' on the holdsworth decal that I took off when constructing the bike.
wheels have been also newly constructed.
