Just did some googling and realised that the split seat-tube allows a modded conventional seatpost to be used cause you can tighten it from beneath.

I've always loved the look of them -but what a hassle, I passed up on a Peugeot which took one a couple of years ago because proper int exp post can be impossible to find and regret it now.
