What's the worst pair of cycling shorts you've ever seen, and why?

Hello chaps and chappettes,

I'm doing a bit of research on cycling shorts/bibs, so I was wondering if I might ask of you to share your experiences of the worst cycling shorts/bibs that you've seen over the years, on pro-riders, the dude pottling round the park, or even, as worn by you.

I'll start - Mario Cipollini's various skin suit were pretty, err, dubious....

The Carrera Jeans outfit of Claudio Chiappucci was a terrible sight to behold.

Skintight, marble-wash denim-effect lycra. Still big in Germany, I gather.

Not design related, but I once cycled around the IoW with a group of friends, and one of their bib shorts had gone completely see through all around the ass crack. We never told him, just made sure we were always in front of him!

That's the worst pair of cycling shorts I've seen.

One of my friend chose to ride with white shorts and no pants. His arse tattoo was then clearly visible.

I once bought a pair of touring shorts from Altura.
Gawd they were terrible. They were lycra inserts with a material on the outside like a pair of football shorts.

It felt like I was cycling with a nappy on whilst I slid all over the saddle.

I complained to Altura and they said there was nothing wrong with them. They wouldn't give me my money back.

Everything about that guy is fantastic... like an angry cycling Harold Bishop.

...I particularly enjoy his scaly shins. Obviously wind-scarred from where he's gone so fast.

I was given a pair of padded cycling pants; white, y-fronts - they look like a bloody nappy.
