You could leave it submerged in GT85 over night perhaps. That got more smooth miles out of a sealed Campag BB of mine.

I have already replaced it as it was making funny noises and not running smoothly and when i inspected under the seals there was very little grease left in the bearings.
wouldnt gt85 cause further degreasing as it would dissolve the existing grease? -

yes GT85 is too light to lubricate the bearings, and will destroy the grease.
Peel back the seals, fill it with grease, and it will last a lot longer. Do it again in a few years time to rejuvenate it. -

Do both. Use GT85 to clean out gunk. Liberally spray it in, if you have access to the balls then wipe them clean. Then put in thick grease.

clean it out as much as you can before putting fresh grease in there, pack it full and pop the seals back on !
Hi just a quick question regarding sugino sealed cartridge bottom bracket.
Is there any point in removing the seals and regreasing what i presume are the bearings and then replacing the seals to extend the bottom brackets lifespan?
