^ whilst you're undoubtably joking on this, someone caused no end of shit at the etape caledonia a couple of years back with pins on the road, and if it were to happen here in Manchester the organisers would be as pissed off as those behind that event.

I can't be arsed to Google but pretty sure someone was prosecuted for it.

Was one of those high church nutters IIRC no prosecution presumably due to the dodgy handshake mob that run most Govt institutions in Scotland.
