  • Hi all, I'm having a clear out in an attempt to raise some money for a new camera to take to Indonesia this summer. Most things are odds and sods that I've pulled off other bikes and I'm not sure how much they are worth but I figured I'd pop them up in case anyone wants them, or in case someone feels like a charitable purchase for a poor PhD student. If I'm waay off with the pricing please do let me know. Finally, I'm based in Oxford so would prefer to post (at cost) but I'll be popping into london a few times in the next couple of weeks so could arrange pick up.

    Cheers,
    Ewan

Bartram Low Low Lo-Pro frame and forks

I bought this off the forum a couple of years ago with the honest intention of racing it at a few local TTs but I hung a few parts off it to test the size and it seemed too small and I already have my P2 so it never even got built. The original thread is here.

Tubing is 531 designer select which i believe means it could be made up from a combination of nearly any reynolds tubing of the time. Takes a 24" front wheel, long horizontal dropouts. English bb 68mm shell, threads need a clean. Approx horizontal tt measurement is 54cm, actual tt measurement ctc is 58.5cm by my reckoning. Gear lever, rear brake cable, bb shell cable and chainstay guide braze-ons Campag fork ends, unmarked rear ends with threading for adjustment screws(not inc). Decals are just stickers over the paint.

I don't know much about the Bartram name but there is a shop with the same name in Durham that might be able to provide more info. The frame number is CB F186.
There is a repair at the BB/seat tube junction but I discussed it with edmundro at the time and IIRC he had confirmed with a bike shop that it was solid.

I paid £100 for it and would like the same back.

    ** Mavic 700c rear wheel- £50**
Open Sport 32h rim, System EX fixed/Free hub, built for use on the Lo-Pro but never ridden. You can have the tyre and tube (also brand new) for free.

    ** Mavic 24"/600c front wheel - £50**
CX18 rim, not sure what hub. Listed as NOS when I bought it for the Lo-pro and I've never ridden it. It has a brand new Vittoria Juniores tub taped on which you get for free. If you are buying the Lo-pro I suggest you get this as well, 24" road rims aren't impossible to find but I didn't see many around.

    ** Vittoria juniores 24" tub - £15 **
Size: 24" tubular or 600x21. New, unused, boxed etc.

** Velo Orange Randonneur Front Rack - £35**
Almost new, never used. The instructions say to bend the tang into place and then drill and cut to desired size - I bent but it was clear it wasn't going to fit so stopped there. You get the P-clips free (Generous!!).

    [strike]** Campag aero seatpost - £18 **
Unused since I bought it from hilary with this description:
CAMPAGNOLO CHORUS AERO 27.2mm 155mm rails to limit mark has had knurling tool applied just above the limit mark, not too obtrusive £18[/strike]
