  • Hi all,

Looking for something gorgeous, ideally built by a UK framebuilder. Happy to pay up to £250.

    Cheers!

  • Hi monald

I have something you may like, it's a 58 x 58cm c-c smooth welded Fanciulli frame, probably early nineties but maybe late eighties? Not sure what particular Super Vitus tubing it is, but they were equivalent to the Columbus SL/SLX tubings in terms of material thicknesses. Complete with chrome Columbus forks.

I rode this bike across London in its current build state, and it's really nice and responsive. 130mm rear spacing and internal cable routing. I bought it for the Campag parts and I don't need the frame (too small for me).

    From velospace:
Fanciulli was a Bikeshop in Basel, Switzerland. Its not existing anymore. They had their own bike collection manufactured in Italy.

I know they built some frames in Olmo tubing as well, and I found this bad boy on Velospace build with SLX.

  • Sorry no British made frames, but may be you're interested in something beautiful from oversea, from Holland
I have this Koga Miyata frame, 59 cm. Never been used, never build up.
It's a competition frame of the Framfrites team of the mid nineties. Superlight. No framesticker but must be Columbus Max or equivalent. The fork is a carbonfork
    325 euros shipping included

  • Thanks both - both gorgeous!

I've still got my eye out for a British-made though. So if anything interesting crosses your paths - do give me a shout!

  • Hi I have got a Pennine 23" Frame from the late 70's early 80's. The seat tube is 23" 58.5cm from centre to top and the top tube is 22.5" from centre to centre. It has Campag ends braze ons; mudguard eyes; downtube bottle cage mounts and gear cable stops. The back end is spaced out at 120mm and the forks are spaced out at 100mm. It comes with the forks I just need to put new bearings in the headset hence why there are no forks in the pictures. I am looking for £85 which includes Parcelforce 48 hour service as I am based up north.

  • Hi Robbie B - I'm interested! I've been keeping my eye out for a pennine for ages.

Could you email me bigger pictures? And could you tell me the top tube length, centre to centre?

    My email address is monald(at)gmail(dot)com

    Cheers!
    Donald
