Is the rear already spaced to 130mm? Takes a 27.2 seatpost right?
-
• #9
Not sure about the rear spacing. Let's just say it takes a 7 speed cassete.
The seatpost it's 27.2 which I also have Campagnolo Super Record.

Hi thanks for the reply its funny as the bike I really want is the bike you now have, it's a lovely bike! but it's hard to find a de rosa frame at 53cm that's at a reasonable price. Did you have the frame painted at any point? Thanks

Is the frame still for sale, thanks ?

Nice internal gear cable routing, haven't really seen that before on steel.

hi mate..are you sure the frame is a montello?
coz montello has bridgeless chainstay near from bottom bracket and triangular web on the bottom bracket with pinarello panto..Hi, Thanks for the heads up.
IT is not a montello.
It is a prestige S
And the tubing is not SLX but KL.
It's probably from 82 or 83
Seriously thinking of aborting the sale given that it probably has a titanium bottom bracket

many montellos are fully or a half chromed (only chainstays and seatstays) or some not chromed at all..
the main characteristics all montellos must have are columbus slx and bridgeless chainstay near bottom bracket and triangular web with pinarello panto on the bottom bracket to make it stiff..
but still it's a great frame you have..
So here is my first sale here in the forum
It's a Pinarello Prestige S frameset early 80's
Columbus KL
All inner cables
Measurements:
53x53 square c-t-c Seat tube x Top tube respectively.
Seat tube is 54.5 cm c-t-t
Unfortunately it's too small for me and as I need the space I'm willing to sell it.
What you get:
Frameset (Frame plus fork) The frame is completely chromed underneath the paint job.
Stronglight headset
Campagnolo Super Record Bottom Bracket
Seat post bolt
All this for SOLD
The price is fixed
