My HP TouchPad is now running Android 4.0.4 thanks to the latest CM9 alpha build for this device.

Upgraded without using a PC, sat at my desk at work. Today is a good day.

Hehe, my TP came with a rough early version of CM9 on it, built by a community member. This new version is by the core team, and the extra few months of work shows.

Vodafone have cut me off as I've decided not to stick with them so I'm totally uncontactable....I can't make up my mind whether to go with the future quad core (SG3 or HTC X) for which all future apps will be optimised for or just take a current dual core which in some cases are currently out gunning quad cores??

I fear the expense of the quads....

Do some research and go for the one you like most.

I love my G2 after having it for almost 2 weeks now. It's smoother in the menus but not miles ahead of my old htc desire. I guess if you play games it matters.

I'm looking at tablets again. The Acer A200 is supposed to be available now. Has anyone seen one in the shops or bought one yet?

The things that set it apart for me are ICS, full USB, no rear camera, 10.1 screen and price are all plus points for me. So far online only Tesco have it.
