Good points on which I can't comment. Sport England being a main funder give us targets to meet, and BC arranges staff how it thinks will best work.
Just one coach to cover the whole of London above the Thames (apart from the city boroughs, not much cycling in those anyway) and another to cover everything South of the river. With more clubs starting up all the time, staff are spread very thinly.
Personally speaking, I think London needs at least 4 go-ride coaches, and I also think the go-ride program needs to cover novice adults as well as young riders. The demand this year and in future years is going to be exceptional and unprecedented.
