For Sale: 1981 Motobecane 54cm Mixte Frame 10 speed bike, Front & Rear Racks, Vitus 172 tubing

For sale today, a 1981 Motobecane 54cm Mixte frame 10 speed bike.

54cm mixte is good for ladies between 5ft4 and 5ft9 ish.

I rode it from Brixton to Chancery Lane this morning - It rides well, the bottom bracket is tight, headset is good, wheels are true, brakes & gears work. Seatpost & stem move freely. Good condition for a 31 years old bike!

This was destined to be Ritson's but he pulled out last night so I thought I would offer it here at the same price. I was going to do a full service with new cables and full regreasing but Ritson wanted to keep the price down so I just checked over everything and fitted new tyres & tubes.

• Motobecane 54cm Mixte Frame, Vitus 172 Double Butted tubing, Nice forks stampted 'M' with chrome ends;
  
• Huret 2x5 speeds (50/40-14/24 Atom freewheel), stem mounted shifters;
  
• Philippe Swept back handllebars with black, Hutchinson rubber grips
  
• Mudguards (2 sets), rear rack and small front rack (will come in a bag);
  
• Atom Pedals with Christophe Mini toe clips;
  
• Motobecane saddle;
  
• New Michelin Dynamic 700x20 tyres & new Michelin tubes (£28 spent).
