Bloomers is a not-for-profit, volunteer run bike project committed to promoting the benefits of bicycles to wimmin as an energy-efficient, economical, non-polluting form of transportation, and as a healthy lifestyle choice, by providing access to affordable equipment, education and bike activities in Manchester, UK.
Roadie Ride: Every 1st Sunday of the month
Meet 10am Manchester Victoria Train Station (by the wall map)
We ride 15-65 miles out to the countryside. Road/touring bikes recommended.
Evening Amble Ride: Every 3rd Wednesday of the month
Meet 6pm Pedal MCR, Platt Fields Park, Fallowfield M14 6LA
We ride usually around 10 miles on concrete off road tracks, ending with a beer. All bike types welcome
Wimmin's Tool Club: Every last Wednesday of the month
5pm-7pm Pedal MCR, Platt Fields Park, Fallowfield M14 6LA
We open the workshop to wimmin to use our workstands and tools so you can DIY your bike, with volunteer mechanics on hand to give you advice.
We also run regular wimmin's maintenance classes, cycle training and cycling holidays. For more information and to book on a ride/session see:
