I have no idea what I will be doing on this date, but it looks like something that would be good to do with my wife and daughter and to that end I am now subscribed to the thread and interested.

What - all of them?
That's like going as Earth, Wind and Fire - there's never less than about forty of them on stage. No wonder they're always touring, how're they supposed to retire?

Trying not to sound like a bell, but no doubt will, just so I understand completely, is the aim of this to get so many people to ride, meaning cars cannot move, or are the roads actually shut off?
-
• #20
You're referring to Critical Mass - this is different.

Hey everyone..
As you probably know, I'm not a hugely political person HOWEVER there's a exception to every rule and I'm getting behind the LCC on this one and I hope you will too..
On 28 April the LCC is hosting : Love London, Go Dutch - The Big Ride.
They're trying to create UK's biggest ever traffic-free bike ride in support of safe and inviting streets for cycling. It's a short ride and they're even enouraging fancy dress...
The more people that join, the bigger the signal we send to the mayoral candidates - that it's time for radical change in London to redesign busy roads, residential and shopping streets, and major junctions to make them safe for cycling.
