Aende frames were built by Alan (Pongo) Braithwaite for a period of about ten years from the late 1970s until the late 80s. This stunning time trial bike built in the Alf Engers drillium style is quite stunning. The lugs have all been drilled and the bottom bracket shell given a great big cutout in the interest of saving weight. Similarily most of the components have been drilled – the Weinmann 500 brakes, Campagnolo large flange Record hubs, saddle base and aluminium bolts have been used in the stem. The cranks are much earlier Campagnolo Record Pista 177mm which have been heavily reshaped and profiled totally exquisitely… they are the only subtle part to the bike. Bars are 3TTT Superleggero which were one of the lightest bars available back in the 1970s. A fantastic eyecatching bike. £1495
