Not a paint job. It is copper, with some premature ageing.
Though anyone with a keen eye will have noticed the patch visible in the Thomson stem that was missed.
I did in fact notice the patch revealed by the stem, but that was more copper-y looking, where as the body of the frame is more obscure, most've been lovely in the flesh.
As for the track ends, they look bizarre to say the least, different though.
And I agree with brooks/formation face, strange combo, but in by the looks of it 75% of all bikes there where donned with a brooks!
