G'day, I'm the purchaser.
Subject to seeing how bad the rust is, I'd be planning a full and faithfull respray and decals as close to the original as I can get/make. Cyclomondo has some ok ones but I'll be happy to hear from anyone else with suggestions.
As for build, aim is to go as close to the Hinault, Lemond, Fignon TT bikes of the era (very early 80's).
If anyone has details on the spec they were riding - components, rims, even toe straps - I'd welcome the info. Otherwise, I might just have to pay a visit to the Badger and pick his brain!
