Seems to be getting worse on that stretch lately. For anyone else who takes the CS7 south bound, be extra vigilant at the bottom of Balham Hill around the side streets. Particularly the junction with Yukon Road in my case.

I was hit by a non-indicating left-turning van at junction with streathbourne road and balham high road two and a half weeks ago so I wholeheartedly concur with this sentiment :(
