If it is a Visp it's not available any more or it's not a Visp, that's what I was trying to find out. The white one above says 2009 so was prob an old model...
-
• #228
The only difference between that and the ebay visps is the aero postclamp, i seem to remember they got rid of it after getting into some legal issues with copying other frames

Anyone know where to buy this frame from?
It's not being sold by mycycoole and although its tagged as a Visp I cant find it anywhere.Ah, found it. Shipped for £154, appears seller is in Australia so just need to find out about shipping situation as dont want to get stung for import vat etc.
£50 more and you get a Dolan.
-
• #230
Yes but the pre curser dont look like this^. The equivalent Dolan track champ is £350 although for obvious reasons, not least the track champ weighs over a 1000grms less.

That white one is a older TRX-NL2, they don't make it anymore.
People back here in Finland had issues with the size of the seatclamp, mycycoole told the size is 27,2mm but it is really 27,4mm - 27,6mm. -

Winter VISPing.
That is a very nice set up!
You should start a build thread for this! Im also curious about the tyres and rims for this build -
• #233
I think they're Pro Lite wheels, like the cranks. Tyres I'm not so sure on.
-
• #234
Im surprised it actually can fit the frame and forks...
-
• #235
For just under £150 including shipping you can get this

Start a "cheap track bike" thread? -
• #236
quite nice apart from the forks.
-
• #237
As this is the Visp thread I started one for all the cheap track frames around at the mo. Find any stick them here

they do 59, don't make a problem out of that 1 cm.
But it's not really a 59 though, is it.

• #239
You too could have a bike that looks like this.

I agree, but you also get a seatpost and headset included, making it more of a good deal.

Top tube according to the diagram is 59.1cm, which sound like a similar length to a 60cm frame, unless you need a longer one?
And quite frankly that frame look 'orrible, and no doubt heavier than a steel frame.

I was referring to the Visp ed. The 59 in that has a 57.5 TT which is a bit diddy.
The other one come up bigger, but I'd rather a pre cursa when you factor in P&P. -

the frame on this monstrosity looks very similar to my frame, it's badged as a langdale but it also says 'A6N' on it, there are identical frames with Hewitt decals around and probably other shops too. I really like mine. Well, it's the least shit bike I've ever owned, anyway. Here's another one
-
• #245
yours looks much better quality, tighter clearances and no slack headtube
-
• #246
I still can't see the advantage in getting a frame where the wheel is almost slammed on the track end and still have a massive gap between the tyres/seatstay.
-
• #247
yeah you are right, what's the deal with the clearance? Mine's definitely the same as the premier. The dropout inserts look different on the black one too, and it's got cable guides. Damn, that is one ugly bike.

More a case of fag-packet designing than aiming for any specific advantage.

Anyone know if you can get the TRX999 in just frame only?
Love it, but don't want all the guff that comes with it.
-
• #250
Buy it and freecycle the rest.
Has anyone got charged the import duty yet?
^you're right
