For Sale: Small Brian Rourke 531c Road Frame 50cm

Having to sell many of my treasured rides due to severe hip/knee problems,and need to finance my new recumbent trike

It is with a heavy heart that I have to sell my Rourke but I am no longer able to ride it

It was made for me in Feb 1988,I still have invoice and delivery note,I then sent it back to Rourkes to be resprayed in the same colour ...pearl pink about 18 months ago this cost approx £140

Measures ST c-c 50 c-t 51.5 and TT c-c 51.5 , you will notice that it does not have any bottle cage braze ons as when I purchased this frame it was used for time trials and I used a seat mounted bottle

Rear spacing is 128mm and campag dropouts, when I built up 18 months ago was using campag 10 speed rear hub, it was only built up for two weeks and had covered less than 35 miles

The paint suffered a couple of tiny marks when being returned to me from Rourkes, little bit of damage to transfer on down tube ,and a tiny chip on rear stay ,also has two very very tiny dints that I thought they had repaired but sadly not ,you really have to look hard to see them ,one on top tube and one on rear stay

So many nice small bikes coming up at the moment. After I blew £400 in the winter on a bike that doesnt even fit or ride nice. I am annoyed. This wouldve fit me so well. I didnt even know you could get 50-51cm 700c frames till they all started popping up this month.

Ha! Exactly what I thought when I read the title of the thread.... You can wait months and months for a decent small frame to come about....
