I bought a pretty similar looking frame for a project recently. The bike isn't completed yet but I'm already thinking about replacing the frame. Just really shoddy workmanship all round.

despite the ebay link being posted from the US, the spelling and layout of that ad is painful and their returns 'polocy' looks a bit shifty too. Did Ed do their proof reading?

Lets have a look at it then, where's the pics?

Looks identical to those 'visp' chinese frames that are all over ebay.

As I said. Not complete, and not very happy with it at all. Main issues are that they seem to have cut the seat post hole too wide all the way down the tube so its impossible to tighten enough to hold it in place properly. Various other shitty aspects.

sounds like they've 'cut' it a consistant size, but you're putting too small a seat post into it. Shim from U.S.E.? http://www.use1.com/product/000062/seat-post-shims/

The seatpost problem is well know, most people have used a coke can shim to solve it. Google it. Also is that a VISP TRXNL? Has it got 4 bolts holding each dropout like this one

Another Nexus except this one's got smooth welds.
Sure the seat tube's thicker than the down tube is that normal/ or even correct?! Surely the seatube should be/ usually is the thinner of the two? -

I'd ride it

what are your thoughts about this frame?
if you like it put a ring to it.

They're so heavy, and the welds look horrendous, especially on the fresco.
I'm spoilt, as my Langster frame, although only a Langster frame, does only weigh 3.5lb!
I'd love to get one though, but if only it was a bit lighter. I would put up with nasty looking welds, simply cause I couldn't afford a decent track frame really...
I guess production will improve though over time, like a lot of stuff produced in the east cheaply does and probably won't rise in price much?

Lol! Must spread rep.
