I'd stick with classic or at least vaguely classic-looking components. Hence no Deep Vs but rather something like Mavic Open Sport if you want new rims.

Hey guys,
So i bought a 'winner' off gumtree last week. I really want it to be a single speed BUT have no real idea about bikes so unsure what sort of Hubs and tools i would need. I was wondering if you guys could point me in the right direction?
Cheers

No offence eloptiko but maybe you need to have 10 minutes alone in the bathroom with Fixed Gear Gallery circa five years ago...
