For Sale: Specialized Allez Expert (E5 with carbon says) £190

I have a Specialized Allez Expert frame set for sale. Used but in good condition. Really great frame, only selling because I've switched to something more suitable for light touring.

Originally purchased on the forum http://www.lfgss.com/thread18087.html During my ownership I guess I put about 2000 none racing miles on it, never crashed or had any problems. Worth noting is I stupidly over tightened a stem once and the top of the steerer has become slightly compressed (see picture) I rode it for about a year like this with no problems. As the steerer is pretty long if you wanted you could cut it down.

I also have a set of FSA ergo bars (pictured) and a unused 100mm FSA stem which Ill throw in for an extra tenner.

How tall are you? I ride 56cm normally.

I'm 6ft exactly. Shimano 105 5600 shifters seem to go for £70-90 on ebay so £30 extra wouldn't be enough.

I forgot to mention the 105 BB that is currently attached is included with the frame (still running fine). I also have a unused Dura Ace 7900 BB I could sell for £20.

I'm very tempted indeed, but I've just sold a titanium frame only because it was 58cm and too much of a stretch for me.

I so want to buy this, frame, but with two road bikes I hardly ride, cannot justify it.

Same here. If it was 56cm... But I'd still need a group set and no spare funds.

I think I've just bought a complete TT bike. Now need to refresh my swimming skills.

I had an Allez as my first road bike, albeit the entry level one rather than this more bling example- really nice frame I think.
