Which Saddle?

I've just picked up a virtually brand new Arione of eBay for less than half price. I've swapped this with an old Velo saddle on my Steamroller. I was getting uncomfortable after 20 miles with the old one whereas I can ride 100+ miles on an Arione with no issues on my road bike.

Well that didn't go as well as planned. The new saddle was more uncomfortable than the old one.
I think the issue lies in the fact that I mostly ride the Steamroller without sufficient padding whereas the road bike never gets used without decent padded shorts. Before I swap them back I'll try the saddle with padding but I think I prefer to keep my clothing options open on the Steamroller.
Bollocks!

Did 20 or so miles today with bibshorts under my trousers and was much more comfortable. Think I'll give it a few more rides before deciding whether to keep it.
