After having a few bikes, selling buying and then selling again I only keep 2 however I still only use 1 so my "nice" bike never get use. Therefore I have decided to sell my rats everyday kickabout bike so I can use the other bike more.
Shit loads of more picturesHERE!
This picture was taken the 20 of feb.
Even tho this is the rat bike has been well looked after and has some money spent on it. the parts and specs are as follow
Frame, 1940's saxon track frame C-T 49cm T-T 55cm, 19.5" ( originally bought from http://www.lfgss.com/thread69882.html )
Columbus chrome forks, tight clerances upto 22c, drilled for brake
Shimano 105 headset nice and smooth
Cinelli stem+velo orange porteur bars(shimmed) stem has been cut to fit the head tube
Selcof 26.8 flutted seatpost
Rear-Malliard on no name but light 36h rim, rebuilt 2 months ago Vittoria Safiro
Front-Olympic/Olympia road hub quick release on no name but light 36h rim, straight and true but could do with re build Schwalbe Lugano
Campagnolo Athena brake caliper+inverse DiaCompe lever, new pads needed
White Selle Italia couple of rips and scrapes but comfy
Bontrager white tape
Bottom bracket is sun race? with shit from ebay crankset
Olympia track beater pedals+toeclips and straps
Bike will have get clean before it get pick up to be deliver.
Overall the bike is in working condition, ready to go. However nothing is perfect so it could benefit from a nicer BB+crankset as the chain line isnt the best, silence still. also the fork threading seems abit weak, top lock nut grips but not enough so i have shimmed it abit with abit of a can of coke IT DOES NOT HAVE A PLAY but you can always locktie it. Like I said this bike has served me well, could have a whole overhaul for a perfect sunday bike, the potential is there just cant do it up otherwise I wont ride my Aende.
I would like £160 ONO posted to your door next day delivery!
Dibs follow by PM, Banktransfer or Paypal Gift works fine with me.
Any questions just ask, Ill get more and better pictures of the bike tomorrow.
Cheers
