• Hello!

Im selling my freshly set up track / path / road bike. Im not entirely sure of the maker (I can supply frame numbers) but could be the above from what I gather. From late 60's early 70's perhaps...
Its really nicely finished - smooth, cleanly filed lugs, elegant seat stays and front fork, lugged flat fork crown etc. Being a path bike it has braze ons for mudguards front and rear. Looks better in the flesh of course - viewing and test ride welcome! Phone camera photos don't do it justice...

Its just back from Colour Tech. Stove enameled in Ral 5004 with gold lug lining. Very very very dark blue (blue black). Reynolds 531 tubing naturally...

Original Weinmann stem and GB drops.
    Black Tesorex wrap.
Original seatpost and Brooks B17 saddle.
Dia Compe brake caliper and lever.
Small flange Atom hubs (rear flipflop). Rear Rigida Rim. Front Super Champion. Both alloy, 700c.
Old school and in good shape Hutchinson Flash Tyres. 700 x 20.
    New Shimano sealed bottom bracket.
    SR 165 Cranks.
    New crank bolts.
    New seatpost binder bolt.
    New KMC Chain.
    Newly fitted Ritchey Headset.

Rides so nice. Silent, smooth and responsive.

    Frame size; 59 cm c-c / 60 cm c-t seat tube. 57.5 cm c-c top tube. To suit around 5'10 to 6'3 +/-.

All enquiries welcome. Just PM me. Im in east London.

    £350

    Cheers!

I think Ernest might be looking for something like this. Might be worth sending him a PM?

  • nice job.

  • Cheers!

  • cheers TeeTee, already got in touch on retrobike, only after frame, so will keep an eye out for split..

  • You're welcome. I'd be keen to see your bits (ahem). I'll show you that Carlton...

If it comes to a split, I'd be interested in the tyres. But I think someone should buy this as it is.

  • very true. looks great as is.

  • looks stunning!
I might be interested, but don't see myself in east london for another week.
If it's still there by then, I will PM you.

  • Cool - just get in touch whenever.

  • still interested! But I didn't get a pm...(or I'm stupid, or probably both)

I could have a look at the bike during the weekend.
    would that suite you?

    cheers
