guys, you're missing the point here
“My own personal journey started with a fixed-gear commuter or ‘fixie’, the model loved by messengers,” says Wheatley. “It started off as a bike but became an obsession and now, apart from the frame, there isn’t a single original part. Aerospoke wheels were added for no other reason than they looked good. Likewise a gold chain, racing handlebars, carbon seatpost, aero saddle, computer … the list goes on.”
