Hi lads, I bought this ring off ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/46-tooth-singlespeed-black-track-chainring-144BCD-MINT-Campagnolo-cranks-/270916200056?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item3f13dd2678#ht_500wt_1182
A picture on my desk..
Guy listed it as 'mint' and 'campagnolo', but it isn't / don't think it is...just wondered if anyone on here knows what the heck I've bought as it has no brand markings and seller seems to have no idea either, apart from the fact it apparently came off a campag crank..?Can anyone shed any light?
Thanks!

It looks similar to the drillium SR Apex rings, but the drill hole sizes seem too consistant. Worth a look though.

What year Champion Mondial this is? Serial is: 2227561
http://img440.imageshack.us/img440/9207/sieppaas.jpg
Is it worth of 260€ incld. shipping? -

According to the fivenineclimber database http://fivenineclimber.com/bikes/gazelle/misc/serial_numbers.htm #2227561 falls somewhere around 1968 - Seems a bit odd given the rear brake cable guide braze-on's on the top tube - didn't think they came into play till the late 70's (builders previously believed that brazing would weaken the tubes, so everything on race bikes was held in place with little crome clips)
Hope this helps - the fivenineclimber page is pretty handy for all things Gazelle - here's a late 70's frame with top tube cables http://fivenineclimber.com/bikes/gazelle/ramos_red.htm -

Hi,
Can anyone help me identify where I can buy replacement hoods for the brakes pictured below? I've already tried to obvious Evans and Velorution...
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Ian
Couldn't be dead cert, but would guess pretty much any 90s SLR aero lever hoods will fit. At one point I had 600 tricolor, 105sc (?) and dura ace 7400 levers all next to each other and I swapped and changed hoods around on them till I got a good set.
Theres a few companies that still make 3rd party items for the DA so would be pretty confident they'll fit those, which look like rebadged 105 (1055) levers -

Hello all, I'm hoping somehow somebody could help me identify this frame... http://www.flickr.com/photos/hcharge/6957102597/in/set-72157629521289439/
It says Amore & Vita which I think is a racing team? It also says Fanini team underneath that. I was told it's from the early 90s maybe late 80s, Columbus tubing, had mostly Campagnolo parts before it was stripped down. It's very very light, 54cm size with 26.4mm seatpost.
I can't find anything like it online, what do you think it's worth?
Cheers
Henry

Amore e Vita - Harry Lodge used to ride for them back in the early/mid 90's...
He's still around, a mate used to train with him - according to a quick google, he's still in the bike world, running halo sports management. http://www.halosportsmanagement.com/index.html

Cheers! Will drop him an email, see what he thinks, I've sent an email to Amore e Vita as well.

A little scratched up with some rusty spots, but I found this nice little bike while traveling. Brought it back here to London to sell on as it is too small for me. Any help identifying? Quite a few Massi (not Masi) components, a beautiful seatpost for one. Stickers all say "CX Corsa". Italian flag type decal mainly, but others look Spanish or have an outline of a Spanish region maybe? (Massi is apparently a Spanish build). No serial number that I can see or other identifying marks. Came with Route rear wheel and Massi front wheel (which its sticker I think probably gives it away as being a Massi bike), beautiful old Mobic (?) cranks, and perforated Shimano 600 brake levers, among other decent bits. If anybody has any ideas on dates, etc. let me know. Thanks.

Hi all,
Last year I built this bike for my girlfriend.
It's not a Jack Taylor, it's just enamelled by him.
The quality of the frame has me wondering who could have built it.
Any suggestions? -

So last week me and a friend found a road bike which was thrown away by some guy.
Brand name was: "slk Roover" and it was a high end frame, at least I think it is.Columbus frame and fork, Full Dura ace 7400 group, regal saddle and Cinelli stem/bar. Does anyone know anything about "Roover"

http://static.lfgss.com/attachments/28945d1280868242-dura-ace-006.jpgThanks for replying mate..does look similar..but surely 46t is too large for an inner road chainring..? (obviously not the outer one)

Just got this reply from a guy I found on Flickr who had some photos of some really nice Massi bikes. A bit helpful but I'd still like to know the dates/tubing/etc. that the bike could be.
Sorry, I speak a little english.
Massi is a Bicycle build in Catalonia(Catalonia map in decal), Spain. The builder is Cicles Masferrer. The look is italian(Italy flag in decal) but is spanis.
Look thatYour Massi is a very nice nice bicycle!
Best regards.

Do you recognise this stem?
It's a 3TTT quill which looks like the Evolution but I'm not sure.
If you have any clues, please let me know.
