It depends on your politics. I'd go with the Guardian if you're of a liberal bent.

Pva to stick, think back to your time spent papier macheing as a child.
Then some sort of varnish to protect? It's not like you'd need a perfect finish so a spraycan of varnish should do the trick. Not exactly rocket science is it? When did people stop using their brain to think a problem through to a conclusion themselves?

Cheers I thought of this bit didn't think PGA would bind to the frame as it only sticks to stuff that absorbs water.
When did people become so sarcy I was seeing if there was a better way and if people had experience of doing this -

Then start with basic spray mount to make your frame sticky, put on the paper (gazzetta would be good), use pva to stick paper to itself if required or more spraymount, the lacquer is what is going to put on the hard surface and bind it all together.
Honestly, it's not difficult is it and there are plenty of different ways to experiment, which after all is the fun part. What ever happened to peoples sense of adventure? I blame a loss of the shed culture and the rise of the youtube tutorial.

Id be afraid to experiment on my pornworthy create.

pornworthy create, there's an oxymoron if ever I heard one.

Loss of shed culture, yes, but YouTube tutorials are great in my opinion. This bloke is doing a project, so that's all good, right? Nothing wrong with asking for some tips if they avert a balls-up.

Photos of the finished article please.
Also any learning points on how you would do it next time.
Preferably also a you tube tutorial vid.

I bet it looks ink-redible when it's finished.

Leaf it out sun shine. Take a good look in the mirror with those puns and at times like these ask your guardian for an independent opinion.

I've seen a frame done like this
It was a LeMonde

It is often cheaper to buy parts online and get them delivered in the mail, with the money you save you can get express delivery so you dont have to wait so long to bild the bike.

I'm sure he'll Journal his progress if we give him Time.

Maybe he can't get on LFGSS at work, in which case he'll have to tell us how it went once he gets home in an Evening Post.

I'm curious to see what standard of finish can be achieved with newspaper

Watch out for the lacquer when The Sun comes out.
Ive seen a frame that's been coated in newspaper then lacquered or something I was wondering if anyone knew how to do this and what products are best
Cheers
