Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

I freakin' love the Rapha packaging. Something as small as a merino hat gets dressed to the nines.

i really like my rapha socks... but it seems the gf likes them more and has stolen them :(

I was asked in the changing rooms if that was a Rapha top I was wearing. I meekly replied it was but that I do try and avoid Rapha for the commute as I find it a bit poseur. He then pointed to my hat, oops, my shorts, more oops, my gloves, bugger, he did not spot the socks.

I am DJ and I claim my five pounds.

Back on with Winter Jersey this morning - that's the 5th time I've worn it - nice but pricey

Wore the 3/4 shorts on the ride to work today. Great stuff. Anyone know if there are any major differences between the new ones waiting release? I'd like another pair... but at $200 could probably wait for a sale.

The only thing I noticed was that the little button straps at the bottom are no longer houndstooth. Nor is the strengthened belt loops.

Rapha shipped today the wind jacket i ordered on sunday, but still not the softshell which i ordered on friday.
Anyway, i could probably have it tomorrow but because i paid only for standard not express delivery rapha needs to punish me.

There's a lot of orders getting processed daily.

Currently in my basket: 2 3/4 bibs, 1 softshell and 1 gilet.

I can more than justify the bibs and the gilet, but somebody tell me why the softshell is better than my Reebook jacket with detachable sleeves?

I found Rapha just after xmas, ended spending more with them than I had spent in the last three years combined...

I'm a bit of a slut around Rapha.

anyone ever buy their jeans also at 150quid are they in any way worth it?

The jeans fit me very strangely. I spent less than half on a pair of swrve jeans and am quite pleased.

+1 for the Swrve jeans, got the skinny ones about a week ago and very pleased with them. Can't compare them to the Rapha ones, but I do prefer my Swrve 3/4 skinny shorts over my Rapha fixed shorts, fit-wise anyways

Right I need a Gilet, the Rapha ones look nice, but pricey. Not sure between the lighter one or the softshell, else there's a slew of decent gilets at about 30-40 folding, should I pay the extra for the Rapha ones? After loving my softshell all winter, got a hankering after the softshell gilet for those spring mornings and fast descents

Also worth checking out Muxu jeans. £80 and I'm very pleased with mine.

Sizing is screwed though so order a size down
