Pedal / Double clips/straps combo recommendations?

Currently running some MKS MT LUX peddles with MKS leather clips and a single strap.

Want to look into double straps, but I don't think those peddles will accept them.

Can anyone recommend a good combination of peddles, clips and double straps? Preferable around the £75 mark all in.

Sorry to hijack the thread but seemed like an easier option than posting a new one.

I'm also looking to get some new pedals as i only have cheap plastic ones with moulded clips and straps at the moment and don't fit my shoes at all (vans/converse).

Could anyone recommend me some pedals? I have a set of genetic double strap clips that i got for a free off the chap i bought my fixie from. Basically looking to get some decent reasonable priced (i'm a student) pedals and double straps.

Pretty new to fixie bikes so not sure on pedals, only really use it for commuting and messing about with friend so was thinking of getting bmx pedals with restraps, but seems a bit pointless when i already have some genetic clips.

Those were the pedals i was looking at, but then realised they are one sided.

The only problem is that i have rode bmx's all my life and have never used clips and at the moment i find it quite hard to get my feet into the clips. So when i cant get my feet in the clips in time in traffic i just ride without my feet in the clips, which is probably pretty bad but saves me getting ploughed down by a bus haha

Someone did recommend the MKS Sylvan pedals as they apparently have space for double straps and are double sided?

Genetic do pedals too, they'd fit the bill, Sylvans too. Both are less 'platformy' than the GR 9s, so won't be as comfortable, particularly on longer rides. While the GR 9s don't have a slot for a second strap you can run the strap under 'em. Use long bolts to attach the clip and run the strap between them and the pedal

Blb track pedals and blb double straps.

Sylvan Track are one sided, GR-9's have a pretty nice platform, even when you ride on the back / wrong side of them. MKS Stream are double sided but will eat your shoes.
