Reminds me, this year, a respray might just happen. Mine (flam red on chrome) is looking really sorry for itself now thanks to a wet winter and bike not being allowed to come in the house to dry out. Its the forks, chrome on them was already not ideal (lots of tiny spores of rust), pretty sure another year and they'll be blistering up.
I guess stripping/rechroming forks / rear stays is easily as expensive as the whole respray if not more? Can anyone suggest any places to have it done thats better/ cheaper than jacksons themselves? Since I got it I wanted them to renovate it (has a frame dent too), but heard so many neutral/ neg things about them in past few months (and I am finicky as hell when it comes to this kind of stuff, if I'm paying £2-400 for a service, 'I' want to be the one who puts chips and scratchs on it, not them).
