ncg, take the time to visit his premises* and get to know the man, he has a wealth of knowledge and epertise which he's happy to share. he makes bicycles as he goes along, sometimes overtaken by other events, and doesn't particularly like to be tied down.
the finished item is well worth any wait though, and his prices are very agreeable.
*instead of going round and round the one way system on the industrial estate, upon entering peel road take the unlikely first left turn into what looks like a scrap dealers yard, then turn right, his unit is at the far end, door usually closed unless he's chaffing with someone over a fag.

only on my third attempt did i actually find the place. think i got a bit distracted and carried away spinning like fook around the estate .
he invited me down to have look at the frame being built , but work got in the way. it felt a bit like missing my pregnant girlfriends first scan of my son.
