  • At least he hasn't left it late like he usually does, as good as Podolski's stats may look he never quite made it at a higher level (Bayern Munich), Köln are a team that at some stage in their history were quite good. Bit like Newcastle, that would make him the German Alan Shearer I guess.

    That out and out hanger does wonders for the shape of the team, Sanchez is about as creative as a dairylea triangle but his movement makes so much space for the rest to move into. Arsenal can only stretch teams on the flanks with Theos "pace" and a total fear of Gervhinos forehead. a player like the big German would see players like Ramsey, Arteta, Jack, Rosicky (finally returning on what he promised!) all getting in on the goals.
