might be easier to get a machine shop to make one up for you - should be a pretty easy/cheap job, especially as you have the old bolt

some of the older MTB stems & some road ones too had squeeze bolts like that, the bolt was forever falling out when the stem wasn't on a bike :-( maybe a one could be found and adapted, I'd have to poke about and see if the stem I had with this is still around.

found one yesterday, its an old cannondale stem..
would do the job, but way to big..the bolt alone is almost the 1.2 cm
and its alu, so will be to scary to machine it to size..
got my mate in canada, who is a jevelery designer, to look into it..
he thinks he can CAD one, then harden it..
for a ca 1998`Carrera columbus EL frame, i need a rather special seatpost bolt.
Inserted into the frame, it has a groove for the seatpost, and dosent force the frame together like most old steel frames, but kinda wedges the seatpost..
tried googling, and came up with and old Legnano type bolt..
see pics
its ca 2.2 cm wide, when in use, and ca 1.2 in dia..
if you got one, hope youll be willing to send to Denmark, i`ll pay all expenses, off course..
any info, links..highly appreciated..
cheers
