Yep, I'll ring them up today and double check we'll be able to get those tickets the morning of travel (otherwise I'll book them in advance).

Super off peak savers on groups is what we got - was the cheapest avaliable for groups so probably the same as yours John, unless you get a different ticket for having more than 3 people - you can buy it on the day. I only bought it in advanced so that I could book bike spaces.

You can book bike spaces without having a specific booked train as long as you do it in advance. Just go to a ticket office and ask, say you have an open ticket.

Anyone going Friday night? Tickets are the same price, if there's anyone who wants to make us a group of four and save us all some money they'd be very welcome.

I'm probably going to get the 16:30 from Paddington (last off peak train before rush hour), and come back on Sunday on the 18:30, but with an open ticket so that I can go whenever.

I think we'll be going after rush hour, unless both Jimmy and Arunas get off work very early.

Tempted to make a joke about the dole but... this is only theoretical if nobody else can make it, I don't want to take a team place away from someone who is less awkward than me! I think Leah's looking for a team? I'll be there about 7ish on Saturday anyway to celebrate/commiserate with Stabbath.

According to the LHPBA ruleset it's fine. You can have a sub at any time as long as that player is no longer/not in the tournament.
