Not a performance to take pride in but a number of positives.

The first is that we won and are through. Not many Chelsea supporters expected to win today, not until RdM took over.

We scored twice in open play.

We kept a clean sheet.

Drogba, Cole, Lampard, Sturridge and Terry were all rested.

And Arsenal are out.

They had a shit bench. Milan were shit, it was there for the taking after putting so much into it.

How did Derby do?

^ I think this is a pretty fair reflection, but I also think the disadvantage of the away goal worry affected the play in the second half.
We have a total lack of quality on the bench, I would have rather put Arshavin on that Park, like wise I'd sooner have Diaby on than Chamakh. With Chamakh on the pitch we were nothing.

I'm still really proud with the way we played and in terms of coming off the back of this game in a positive fashion - other than winning, this is the best outcome. Hunting down Spuds is now our main objective (and making sure Jack, Robin, Thomas, Bacs, Ox and Theo are all injured for the Euros ;p

I ended up going to the emirates tonight and the atmosphere was actually pretty good for Arsenal. Good 1st half but the 2nd was pretty dry with few chances. Forgot you cant buy beers at CL matches, whats that all about?
