Velcro straps without the BMX pedals?

Hello all

does anybody know of any nice metal pedals which you can fit velcro straps on? Really don't want clips this time but I also don't want massive plastic bmx pedals either. Planning to use a track drop bar and I reckon it's will look messed up with trick-looking pedals on there..

Get some Restraps. They can go onto most pedals which have holes in the front and back for bolts.

I have some restraps (diagonal ones) but have no idea where to get metal pedals with holes on both sides, not very helpful I know, sorry

I got Restraps and MKS Sylvan Stream pedals. They have 4 holes.

Do you think you could pull horizontal restraps through Sylvans or something similar? I've been meaning to try this for a while, I don't fancy the bolted versions either.

Check out the pedals and see if they have the slots. If not, then I guess you can't! Diagonal straps are better anyway. You can tension the strap nice and tight with a twist of the foot.

Yeah the diagonals ones are good, the horizontal straps won't go on sylvans I don't think but go for the diagonals IMO they're nice pedals Joseph, just what or been lookin for

this guy will make you a custom set of straps to go on whatever size pedal you want. nice guy, email him he talks english. ended up similar price to buying a set of restraps for me

Well looks like there's hope.

Will go down to tokyo fixed on my lunch tomorrow have a proper look at some diagonal straps, could very well imagine them on some black sylvans. Thanks!

I've been riding MKS Custom Nuevos for the past year initially with ReLoad velcro straps which are actually quite narrow (and are for sale now on my thread) and fit through pretty narrow gaps.
I've now got Holdfasts threaded through them but they were quite tough to get through.
Give me a shout if you'd like to see them or anything..

I'd love to have a look at them, post a pic if you can pls, i would love to get some neuvos, my old shitty pedals are torn to shreds, but couldn't figure out if i could get velcro straps on, cheers

No worries, I'll do it when I get a chance. The Nuevos are really good, managed to get them cheaper though coz new they seriously bite your wallet ;) They don't actually have a hole in the top outside corner but the strap sits beautifully below it or can be secured with a zip tie if need be. Been riding em like that for quite a while and never an issue.
