This is a polo ball, not an accessory; there's no need to try and have any aesthetic. I don't want my polo ball to be 'punk-rock' or 'grungey', I just want to know why I should use it.
The Fixcraft ball clearly tells me that it is NAH approved and is for hot weather. Done.
