You got the wheelset for a bargain price, pay the £30 for a new axle and quit moaning.
£75 is still cheap.

I have a 135 oln Goldtec hub built into a wheel
My bike has died and I am getting a new frame. But the frame is 120 oln.
Goldtec do a hub conversion kit see bottom of page
has anyone done this?
is it hard?
Will I need any tools? -

Awesome - thanks Stodd
Don't think I need to replace the bearings - might regrease though
I'll use the freezer tip if difficult to squeeze bearings back in.Thanks again
Is there anyway to convert a 135mm goldtec hub to 120 without buying a new axle from goldtec? £30 seems a bit pricey as I got the whole wheelset for £45 and I'm looking to do this on the cheap...
Do any other companies make something similar for cheaper?
Cheers
