Morning all! I'm new on this forum but been in London more than a year now. Commuting ... most of the days but this morning was mental! Not sure but seems like the first hint of spring does have the same effect on people everywhere in the world. Anyway, the important thing is that I survived my first ever ride on a fixed. In London, during the morning rush on a springy day :)

I'm not new really, but I've been a bit of a lurker. So I thought I'd introduce myself somewhere around here. My name is keval (keh-vul) and I live in NW london. I'm in university doing computer security. Yeah, I have a crappy beater bike here right now in London as well as my pride and joy proper track back home in America.

I don't go out riding as much as I should. Soon though, so if you see an asian dude riding a black frame with orange charge fork and lime b43s. Say hello. I'll probably try to come to North beers sometime soon.

I'm Josh. Relatively new to cycling in London, always thought it was far too dangerous and would get me killed, so I missed out on owning a bike in London my whole student life. What a waste. Got a single speed and started cycling around after graduation and now cant get enough of it.

Had my first bike stolen a couple months ago, then my mate helped me get another one off of the forum here, but the head tube just recently cracked! all the way, right around the forks?! Has anyone else even heard of that happening?!
anyway so I'm bikeless again while my mate is helping me find another frame. Cant wait to build it up again.

New to the forum, but loving reading the threads! At the moment i ride a road bike but since i've upgraded it and put clip pedals on i'm not really willing to use it to cut about on anymore, hence the single speed i'm building!
