Why ruin a bike because you like a film? Although it is a shit bike irrespective of the god awful paint job and quirky frame 'details'.

Hence "people like you" and not just "you". That unfortunately continue to build bikes that will never be worthy of slavery...

It is indeed, paint is lush.
That Omnium is a newer one, mines a 2007 without the aero seatpost.
Think that pimp wheels is just one of the things its gonna get!
Dura Ace cranks and chainring are in the post along with a set of Conti folding Ultra Gatorskins and a Ritchey Superlogic carbon seatpost (to be joined by a Ritchey carbon stem when I next get paid).Let the salvery begin!
Just incase noones warned you, be careful with tightening your seatclamp on the carbon post. Also maybe worth getting some carbon assembly paste and a torque key.
Looking forward to seeing your build, I posted that frame in here when it first came up for sale but too small for me.

It's a handsome bike but the build involves very little imagination. Which kind of proves what I was getting at, a list of parts and brand names may define a "correct" Japanese track bike (which I never said he couldn't do) but a HHSB is more than the sum of its parts. It's a certain attitude which clearly he doesn't understand.
I will boldly state that in a HHSB sense that bike can't hold a candle to mine. -

The Kalavinka is tidy. I'd rather spend a morning racing that than 'imagining' your HipHopShitBucket™
